What is The Xtreme Auto Olympics 2012?
This event is a UK first, one of a kind and its what the public within the automobile sector have craved for years. The concept is simple :
- 50 Car Teams (consisting of a minimum of 11 cars per team)
- 5 Disciplines (Show & Shine, Audio, Burnout, Drift, Time Trial)
- Over 30 Different events to compete in
- 1 Overall Team Winner
To explain further, we are in contact with 50 willing car teams from around the UK with a minimum of 11 cars per team to take part against each other in 5 Disciplines which are Show & Shine, Audio, Burnout, Drift and Time Trial. To make this a fair competition we have broken the five disciplines into 36 different categories so no one will need to be punching above their weight. I.e for Time Trial we would not put a naturally aspirated vehicle in the same category as a forced air inducted vehicle. Within each event 1st, 2nd and 3rd place also obtain points for their respected teams, the team with the most points wins the Team Event as a whole.
The categories are as follows :
- Show & Shine :- Best European Car, Best Asian Car, Best American Car, Best Euro Look, Best JDM Look, Ultimate Pre 93 Retro, Best Lowrider, Largest Flamed Car, Best Exotic, Best in-car Multimedia, ULTIMATE Show and Shine car of XAO, Worst Car of XAO.
- Audio (EMMA Format):- SPL Master EQ, SPL Advanced EQ, SPL experience Unlimited, Up to 4 Woofers, Up to 2 Woofers.
- Time Trials :- Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive, 4 Wheel Drive, Naturally Aspirated 2000cc and below, Naturally Aspirated 2000cc and above, Egg & Spoon race, 4 x 1 lap relay.
- Drift :- Club Level, Semi Pro, Pro.
- Burnout :- Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive, 4 Wheel Drive, Bikes, Ultimate Burnout.
- Misc :- Miss Teamscorpio, Overall Team Winner, Mr TeamScorpio, Best Contributor of 2012.
Over the course of the three days whilst the participants are competing, there will be a number of attractions on side to keep the competitors and general public entertained which include :

- Friday and Saturday Night Club Dome (4000 people capacity marquee with big name performers to be announced)

- Camping on site (Competitors section / Public Section)
We feel this is a UK first, being able to get the hardcore enthusiasts of the automobile scene and the general public more involved with a car show concept like never before. Three days packed with fun filled action and an atmosphere which we doubt will be rivaled by anyone in the UK. We feel that the Xtreme Auto Olympics has all the ingredients to be a massive success, so get your camping gear ready and be prepared for The Road Block Event of 2012!!!!!
